Bay Area Alliance for Youth & Families Bay Area Alliance for Youth & Families CLEAR Clean Living Encouragement & Responsibility

Today's youth face many challenges.
The use of alcohol and other drugs affects all of our lives - whether or not we choose to use them or not. The Bay Area Alliance for Youth and Families works to increase awareness and understanding on school campuses and within the community about these issues. Substance abuse prevention and education services offer by the Alliance include:
  • Workshops
  • Training for Students and Staff
  • Campus Events (Speakers, Presentations, and Performance)
  • Media Outreach
Bay Area Alliance is working with local community, law enforcement, business leaders, healthcare workers and educators to build a better drug-free future for our children.

Our mission is to unite together the resources of our community to reduce underage drinking and drug use by:
  • increasing community awareness of substance abuse problems in our youth
  • decreasing youth access to alcohol in homes, schools, and community environments
  • changing community norms so that alcohol and drug use in youth is not encouraged nor tolerated
Alliance Goals:
  • To develop a strong community organization that utilizes its resources to prevent at-risk behavior in youth
  • To develop a shared vision for the quality of life in our community
  • To increase community awareness of substance abuse and other at-risk behaviors, and the protective factors associated with these behaviors
  • To coordinate a community response that offers healthy alternatives to children and families in our community
